Ultraviolette X47: price and variants explained
The Ultraviolette X47 is the Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer’s latest offering, and arguably its most appealing one yet. Like the F77, the X47 is offered with two battery pack options – 7.1kWh and 10.3kWh – with two variants under each, with varying levels of features and tech. All four variants share the same powertrain, though peak output figures and performance differ slightly depending on battery capacity. The chassis and cycle parts, however, remain identical across the lineup. Here’s a breakdown of the four variants and what they offer:
Ultraviolette X47 review: Worth crossing over for?
The new X47 is the production embodiment of the Concept X shown at EICMA last year. While its name is a tribute to a famous unmanned experimental stealth aircraft, the X47 is positioned as a crossover that finds a middle ground between streetbikes and ADVs. That alone makes this the most appealing Ultraviolette yet, but the bike also has some clever technology updates up its sleeve.

5 most affordable bikes in India
The Indian two-wheeler market is one of the most competitive and cost-conscious in the world. Buyers here demand not just affordability, but also reliability, fuel efficiency, and long-term value, all without breaking the bank. This very demand gave rise to icons like the Hero Splendor, which entered the market over two decades ago and completely reshaped the commuter segment. Since then, legacy manufacturers like Hero, Honda, TVS, and Bajaj have continued to push the envelope, offering frugal and dependable bikes at remarkably low prices. With the revised GST 2.0 rates now in effect, prices have dropped, making the bikes even more affordable than they already were.

Porsche Cayenne Electric first look: What can we expect?
It’s safe to say that the Cayenne has been instrumental in Porsche’s modern success story. Since its introduction in 2002, Porsche has gone on to make over 1.5 million units of the SUV in petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid guises; an all-electric Cayenne, then, is only expected. Porsche invited us to its expansive and impressive experience centre in Leipzig, which is incidentally where the Cayenne story originally started, to understand just what makes it tick. Here’s what we gathered from an action-packed day.
